Inspired by ‘Krishna Mohini’, ‘Dance Deewane’ judge Suniel Shetty credits his kids Ahaan and Athiya as his saaRthi
As upcoming show 'Krishna Mohini' shines a light on the unbreakable bond between a brother and sister, its heartwarming narrative has struck a chord with 'Dance Deewane' judge Suniel Shetty. The family drama follows Krishna (Debattama Saha), who serves as a saaRthi (guiding force) to her younger brother Mohan (Ketaki Kulkarni), standing by him like a lighthouse amid life's challenges. Ahead of the show's premiere, conversations about life's saaRthis have taken center stage, prompting Suniel to open up about his saaRthis.
In a candid revelation, Suniel Shetty said, “Mere saaRthi mere pitaji the. He’s no more lekin unnke guidance mein bohot kuch seekha maine – hard work, discipline, honesty – zindagi kaise jeeni chahiye aur paise kitne maayne rakhte hain. Aaj ki taareekh mein, duniya badalti hain aur sab kuch naya aa raha hain. (My companion was my father. He's no more, but I learned a lot from his guidance – the importance of hard work, discipline, and honesty, and how to live life meaningfully and understand the value of money. In today's world, everything is changing, and new things are emerging). I think bacche humare saaRthi hote hain. Jaise ki Athiya aur Ahaan mujhe samjhaate hain ki mujhe kya karna chahiye, kaam ke maamle mein kya choose karna chahiye, kya hona chahiye. (I believe children are our companions. Like Athiya and Ahaan, they guide me on what I should do, what choices to make in work matters, and what should be)."
He further added, "Social media jiske baare mein mujhe kuch nahi pata. They (children) tell you how to do what to do and how to conduct yourself. Parivaar hi generally saaRthi hota hain. Of course mentors ho sakte hain gurus ho sakte hain, lekin agar apne ghar ke log saaRthi hain, toh bohot badi baat hoti hain. (Social media is something I don't know much about. They, meaning children, tell you how to do what to do and how to conduct yourself. Family is generally our companion. Of course, mentors or gurus can also be there, but if the people in our home are companions, it's a very significant thing."
Talking about Dance Deewane, the show is all set to bring back 90s divas Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor on-screen together after 26 years of their Dil Toh Pagal Hai. Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor recreated the hit 'Dance of Envy' from Dil Toh Pagal Hai on the reality show and got the fans nostalgic. The channel's official Instagram shared a video of their performance and fans couldn't keep themselves calm watching the two beauties burn the dance floor with their killer moves.
