India’s Got Talent is all set to return with its new season on 4th October, and the makers have released the first promo featuring
Navjot Singh Sidhu. The promo captures the reality of how talent is often hidden, seen as a secret, or even something shameful. The tone of the video reflects what viewers can expect this season.
The promo begins with a man entering his house holding a heavy hammer. His wife, Rama, quickly stops him and asks what happened. Frustrated, the man replies, “Bas ho gaya Rama, bohot ho gaya.” He goes on to explain that people at his office have started mocking him. Pointing towards his daughter, who is inside a fish tank performing Bharatanatyam, he says, “Tumhe pata hai office mein mujhe log kya kehte hain? Dekho, mermaid ke papa aa gaye.”
The man then recalls how even the neighbours gossip about his family. “Kal subah park mein Mishra ji keh rahe the ki inke ghar…” Before he can finish, his wife interrupts and says, “Magarmach paida hui hai.” Her words only make him angrier.
In his rage, the man picks up the hammer again and declares, “Mere sabra ke bandh ke saath yeh paani ki matki phoot kar rahegi.” Just as he is about to strike the tank, Navjot Singh Sidhu enters the scene and stops him. Sidhu then delivers a powerful line: “Duniya mein sabse bada rog, mere baare mein kya kahenge log.”
His dialogue highlights a strong message about how people often hide their true selves because of judgment. The promo inspires talents across the country to break free from these barriers. The tagline of this season, “Jo Ajab Hai, Woh Gajab Hai,” underlines this very spirit, encouraging unique talents who dare to be different.
