. The ace cricketer seems to have loved the contestant’s performance in the episode.

singing on the Indian Idol stage and wrote, “Small towns have so much talent. Pawandeep Rajan from a small place in
Uttarakhand
is just so awesome. Loving today’s Indian Idol where they are singing 100 songs from the 90’s.”
Responding to Virendra’s appreciation and praises, Pawandeep said, “I feel obliged to receive such kind words from Virender Sir, I have grown watching him and his fearless batting which motivated me to take risk in life and set out our own path and work hard till the time you accomplished your dream.And added, I am thankful to my entire Indian Idol team who made me who I am today.”
The video shared by Sehwag is from the latest episode of Indian Idol 12 which had some of the legends from the music industry, including
Alka Yagnik,
Kumar Sanu, and Udit Narayan. And the contestants performed exceptionally well which was lauded by everyone around the sets and the viewers.
Surprisingly, Pawandeep Rajan, who hails from Uttarakhand and dreams to become the nation’s next idol, won hearts with his amazing performance in the 90’s special episode.
Meanwhile, all the other contestants of the show performed some of the most popular, loved and evergreen music numbers of the 90’s era, in the episode.
