Television actor
Manasvi Vashist
is currently seen essaying the role of journalist,
Aditya Kumar Tripathi
in the show,
Imlie
. The actor recently replaced
Gashmeer Mahajani to play the role of Aditya. In a recent 'Ask Me Anything' session on Instagram, Manasvi was asked about Gashmeer.
A social media user asked Manasvi, "Sir, what do you think about Gashmeer Mahajani?" To which, he responded, "I haven't met Gashmeer but I must say that he is incredibly talented. I admire his work."
Talking about replacing Gashmeer, Manasvi had earlier told BT that he was ready for the comparisons to be drawn. However, it was a relief for him to see that the audience accepted him soon. "People were writing on social media that they want Gashmeer back and no one can replace him. I knew this would happen. It's normal. But in no time I saw that everything cooled down and now I rarely get messages and tags like those," said Vashist.
Sharing his views about the character Aditya, Manasvi had also stated, "It is an interesting role. Also, I had to fit in someone else’s shoes so I saw this as a very good opportunity to prove my mettle. Gashmeer had his style while I have mine. I am bringing my own flavour to the character of Aditya."
In the recent episodes of Imlie, the audience saw how Aditya is trying to win back Imlie and is leaving no stone unturned to get to her.
Manasvi was earlier seen in the show, 'Ishq Mein Marjawan' and has been in the television industry for the past 2 years.
