I want to direct one day, that’s my dream: Vishal
While audiences know Vishal Aditya Singh as an actor, he says his creative ambitions stretch far beyond facing the camera. Having spent years developing stories and writing scripts, Vishal hopes to carve a space for himself as both a writer and a director at some point in the future.
“I have three priorities on the professional front,” Vishal shares. “Acting is my passion which I will always continue. I have also been writing scripts for quite some time. And eventually, I want to direct something. That has always been my dream.”
The actor reveals that he has a built a good collection of scripts across multiple genres, ranging from children’s stories and romance to horror and thrillers. However, turning those ideas into reality requires the right support.
“I’m looking for someone who believes in the project and is willing to back it financially so I can bring these stories to life. It’s a long process and definitely not an easy one,” he says.
For Vishal, the biggest hurdle is finding collaborators who share his vision. But he remains optimistic. “The day I find someone who truly believes in me and my story, I would love to direct it myself. Acting will always be a part of my journey, but becoming a writer and director is something I genuinely aspire to.”
Apart from his creative pursuits, Vishal is also gearing up for another stint on the popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, a platform he has experienced before. Interestingly, he admits that fear never completely disappears.
“I have been a contestant on Khatron Ke Khiladi earlier, and while I still feel fear, it only exists in that moment. Once you face it, you overcome it,” he says. “I haven’t done any special preparation this time, but it’s always a fun ride. I’m happy to be doing the show again. The kind of thrill I have experienced through Khatron Ke Khiladi is something I haven’t found on any other show,” he says.
