Veteran actress Shubha Khote, who has been a part of Bollywood films for almost seven decades, is still gung-ho and excited about her craft. Khote, who has also acted in

After working for so many years, the

actress

has the same level of enthusiasm even today and loves going to the sets. She credits her fitness levels to being a national level cyclist at one time. She says, "My father was a gymnast and I was a national champion in cycling. I feel that has helped me maintain my fitness levels. We used to constantly exercise and follow a balanced diet."

She adds, "Even now, I have a few gym equipment at home and I try and exercise everyday. I don't diet, but I have my two meals and believe in being a happy person. That has helped me enjoy my life."

Ask her about working with top actors of Bollywood since the 50s and she says, "I worked with all the great talent like Raj Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar, Dev Anand, Amitabh Bachchan and many more. I could not get a chance to work with Dilip Kumar. That's a huge regret. I do miss

and Dhumal saab...I had a great time working with them."

Shubha Khote will play a grandmother saas in Spy Bahu and she is enjoying shooting for the show. She says, "I took up the show because it was a good script. I am working for 6-8 hours and not more. So, it fits into my schedule and after a long time, I am again working with my daughter Bhavana Balsaver."
