I love cycling, says Raqesh Vashisth

While the petrol hike has taken a toll on the common man, actor Raqesh Vashisth has a brilliant idea up his sleeve.
He tells TOI, “It is very difficult for the common man to deal with the petrol price hike but I feel, everything has got a positive side to it,” adding, “I am a cyclist and I love cycling. In fact, designer Shaahid Amir is also a cyclist and I learnt from him as he takes his cycle everywhere.”
Interestingly, the actor, besides cycling for fun, cycles down to his shoot.“I ride cycle sometimes to the shoot. I am a very basic person like if I had a horse, I would have take my horse to the shoot. It will be so cool if people are on cycles, peddle rickshaws and all. I think we need that to control global warming and since the fuel is killing us. Like this, people would have a control of where they need to go, they would turn off the engine of their cars when the traffic light is red.”
