She further adds, "Poorvi is a teacher by profession and she is a very sweet and loving girl. After my last show Durga aur Charu, which ended six months back, I had to wait for a good role. I feel that waiting patiently has paid off. There were days when I didn't get selected for other roles and that used to affect me. I would wonder why am I not getting that role. But my father told me to keep the faith and now when I look back, I realise that things happen for a reason."

The 22-year-old, who hails from Indore, is also happy to have fulfilled her dream of becoming an actress. Sharing about her journey so far, she says, "After my graduation, I told my parents that this is what I want to do and I was adamant about it. So my father thought that he should let me go to Mumbai and give it a shot since I was so keen. So that's how I came to Mumbai and within three months, I got my first show Woh Toh Hai Albela, which I quit a few months later. After that, I got my second show, Durga Aur Charu. I am grateful that my journey hasn't been a tough ride even though there was a lot of hard work and effort that I put in. But my dream of coming from Indore to become an actress in Mumbai has been fulfilled."

The actress lives alone in Mumbai and is adapting to the city. "Initially I used to feel alone because I am a family-oriented person. In Indore, we live in a joint family and my parents have always been there with me throughout. But slowly, I am learning to live alone in Mumbai."
