I have declined good work to spend time with my daughter: Navina Bole

Navina Bole, who was previously seen in shows like Parshuram and Ali Baba, is keen to balance her work and family life. The actress, who is mother to a three-year-old, says, “My daughter Kimaayra understands that she has a working mother. When she misses me, we speak on video calls. But I try not to take up work which requires me to shoot continuously.Ali Baba required me to shoot for 10 days in a month and that worked well for me.”
Navina, who is currently looking for her next project, has turned down some interesting roles in the past three years. She shares, “I’ve declined good work because I wanted to spend time with my daughter. I feel that this time will not return, while work will keep happening even later.”
The Ishqbaaaz actress hopes to portray characters that her daughter will be happy to watch. She says, “In my previous show Parshuram, my character had to use a bow and arrow, and also ride a horse. That was interesting for kids to watch. My daughter enjoyed watching it. Currently, she is too young to understand content on TV, but in the future, I hope to do roles that she can enjoy watching.”
