I feel proud people still recognize me as Ragini from 'Bidaai': Parul Chauhan

Well known actress Parul Chauhan, who shot to fame as Ragini in popular show Bidaai, is back in action. This time she will be portraying an important role in her mentor Rajan Shahi's popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.Commenting on her character of Shweta Goenka, Parul says,"It is a role which I am enthusiastic about. First time in my career, I am playing a mother to an adult. I would not say much as I want the audience to see and react."What changes you find in the industry over the years? "There have been a lot of changes over the years. Initially when I was doing Bidaai there weren't many people in the industry but today there's a lot of competition."Speaking on teaming up with her mentor Rajan Shahi she says,"Working with Rajan Shahi is great. He is my godfather whatever I am today is because of him. It has been 8 to 9 years in the industry and everyone still recognize me as Ragini from Bidaai and I feel so proud. I remember the day Rajan Sir called me and without asking anything I said yes I am doing the show. I feel great even today when I get calls from his office for anything. The craze of Bidaai is still there and it's all because of him. I got my first break because of Directors Kut. He presented me perfectly. The way they take care of actors is exemplary.
