, who plays Devi Parvati, says, “It’s a blessing to be a part of a show that has completed 900 episodes. My journey has been fantastic and it feels great that my character has been loved by many. While playing this character, I also got the opportunity to play various avatars of the goddess like Durga, Kali Ma etc. This character also gave me an opportunity to learn more about our rich Indian culture. As and when I play a new character, I make sure to do my research and give my best to the show. The most insightful tales impart lessons and learnings with each episode, and it has always kept the viewers intrigued and engaged.”

The show has given immense popularity to Madirakshi as an actress. Talking about it, she adds, “Appreciation from fans is very encouraging for me as an artiste. It would not have been possible without the undying support of our fans. Along with them, my family too enjoys watching me playing a goddess. and it was well received. Does she feel she has been typecast? “Not at all. I am very choosy when it comes to selecting a role. I have done family dramas too. In mythological shows, one needs to follow a lot of restrictions while essaying any character. There is no question of being typecast and I love doing this. Such roles come with huge responsibilities. In fact, I can connect with my audiences very closely and easily. I feel blessed that such roles are offered to me again and again,” she says.
