Maintaining his look, that of a bald Tathacharya, from the character in the show since the lockdown nearly three months ago, Pankaj says he is looking forward to re-start his professional life. “While Maharashtra govt has said that shootings can start in Mumbai, I think Tenali Rama won’t be shot in Mumbai right now. The makers of the show are preparing to shoot at a location 150 km away from Mumbai on Gujarat border. It is being sanitized and all safety protocol will be strictly followed.”
Speaking about the govt advisory against allowing people over 65 years and kids under 10 years on shooting sets, Pankaj says, “Yes so far that is the guideline issued by the govt, but the entertainment fraternity is negotiating with the govt. We are requesting that if not immediately, at least after a month or so, these age groups should be allowed on sets.”
