I am happy being single and too scared now to find a companion: Maninee De

Maninee De, who is currently seen in the TV show Rabb Se Hai Dua, shares how being a single mom was never easy for her. After being single in 2019, the actress revealed how her daughter Dianoor went into a silent zone. She said, "It was very very tough! It was even tougher for my daughter. After two breakups, my daughter Dianoor went into a silent zone. She is 24 now and we have both grown up together facing a lot of hurdles and tough situations. There is always a taboo associated with a woman who is divorced twice and a single mom but I never cared about it."

However the actress is not cynical. She added, "I feel God has been very kind to me and I am thankful for every opportunity that he has given me. After my second breakup, following a hectic life at work and looking after my daughter wasn't easy but now we are both fiesty women, who have vowed to never give up in life."

Maninee separated five years ago in 2019. The actress was married to actor Mihir Mishra. Ask her about it and she said, "I have no idea why our divorce hasn't come through. There is no battle that we are fighting with each other. Whenever it happens, the world will know." She added, "We met because of destiny and we had a karmic debt maybe and our paths separated later. We are now living our own independent lives. I have never spoken about this and have always wished him well." Sharing further Maninee said, "I am too scared now to find a companion. I am happy with my work and a good set of friends."
