I am glad that our RadhaKrishn journey is coming to an end, beyond this it would have dragged: Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary

TV show RadhaKrishn, produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary, will bid aideu to its viewers on January 14. The popular show has had a four-year run; it began in October 2018.

Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary, who became nostalgic while reminiscing about the show, said, "I am glad that the show had a good run and is now coming to an end. Beyond this, I feel it would have dragged and it would not have been great story-telling. Everybody worships Radha and Krishna, but the story of their lives is intriguing and that's why people enjoyed watching the show. All over the world people see Radha-Krishna idols, but few would know the in-depth story and that's why I had thought of doing this mythological show. Radha Krishn has been the only mytho show to have run for four years."

Talking about the lead pair - Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh, he said, "He was not a regular 20-year-old guy, he had depth and his personality gave out good vibes and positivity. I am glad that after I cast Sourabh Raaj Jain as Krishna in Mahabharat, people accepted Sumedh as Krishna in this show. Similarly, Mallika Singh was doing some other show and when the channel chose to not go ahead with that show, I asked her to be our Radha. Now, that the show is wrapping up, I feel it was a great mission accomplished because the message of positivity has been conveyed well by the show."

The show's music is original with around 150 songs which have been recorded over the years. He said, "The show ran for 4 years but we had been working on it for almost 7 years, so we are very happy. We had original songs that were composed for the show. I am glad that all the hard work could translate well on screen and viewers enjoyed it."
