I am a people’s person: Nakuul Mehta

The handsome and charming Nakuul Mehta will soon make his television debut with Rajshri productions new show 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara' on Star Plus.
Nakuul, who will play the role of Aditya is an extreme opposite to his on screen character.
Nakuul, who appears to be an introvert and who doesn’t believe in relationships on the show, is quite voluble in real life.Admits the actor, "I am a people’s person and have always been surrounded by friends. I have grown up in an atmosphere where I have had relatives, uncles, aunts and friends who have always been with me.
In this show, I get a chance to portray a character that has never seen a happy family and so for him the idea of a healthy relationship doesn’t exist. He does not believe in love.”
So, how difficult was it to play a character which is so different? “Frankly speaking, it was a challenge for me but then as an actor it is your duty to portray as many different characters as you can. And currently, I am loving, the role that I am playing.”
But in real life, the actor does believe in love and is currently dating someone who is not from the industry. “I am in a beautiful relationship and I am proud of it.”
But Nakuul stays mum about his lady love and wants her to be known for her work.
