Hussain in, Prajakta out!

Hussain Kuwajerwala is back as host for the fifth season of Indian Idol. He will replace Prajakta Shukre as the host in the gala rounds.
Prajakta hosted auditions across the country along with Abhijeet Sawant. But now there’s a change. Hussain will continue the show with Abhijeet. There’s buzz that Abhijeet too may be replaced, but nothing official on that as yet.
Last we heard, Hussain was to supposed do a film, but that didn’t take off.So we are not surprised the man decided to return to the small screen. After all, this medium has given him a lot and so has Indion Idol. Prajakta, meanwhile, must be disappointed, but that’s the nature of the business. Besides, her contract with the channel was signed only for the initial rounds.
