Have you mastered either Tamil or Telugu by now considering you are doing films in both languages?
Not at all (laughs)! The dialogues still give me sleepless nights. I didn’t have to ‘study’ so much even during my board exams! It feels like I am appearing for an exam everyday.
However, I am slowly getting better at mouthing dialogues in Tamil and Telugu. My first Telegu movie is called Nenem Chinnapillana.
What about your Bollywood dreams?
I have already completed shooting for a yet-untitled Bollywood mockumentary film and it was a fun experience. It’s an interesting project that deals with paranormal activities and complicated relationships. I really love riding bikes and one of the best things about this project was that while shooting in Nainital, I got to ride a 200cc bike. Things are going well for me and something good is likely to materialize soon. At the moment, I am concentrating solely on my Telugu movie.

You were also into graphic designing. Do you get time for that now?
Well, not much, but it’s something that I have loved doing ever since I was in college. So, whenever I get time, I would love to pursue it along with acting.
Are there any specific goals that you have set yourself for 2013?
Not really, but I hope I stay as busy throughout the year as I am right now with work! Whenever I am in Mumbai, I am busy shooting for ads. Otherwise, I am shooting for my movie. Three of my ads are on air at the moment and professionally, I am in a very happy space. I wish I could spend more time with my parents in Vadodara. The last time I had visited them was duringUttarayanand I am really missing them. There’s no place like home and I realize that now.
