Hina Khan skips wearing wig, shows her real hair for the first time post-cancer diagnosis; says 'I was nervous'
Hina Khan has become a source of inspiration for cancer patients across the globe with her strength and resilience. Despite battling the illness, she continues to live life on her terms—balancing work commitments and even undertaking her Umrah pilgrimage. Last night for an event, Hina flaunted her real hair as she ditched her wig first time post-cancer diagnosis.
Hina looked stunning as she arrived for the event in a black and golden short dress. While interacting with the papparzi at the red carpet, she said, "Aaj main sabse alag lag rahi hoon, kaisi lag rahi hoon?" Everyone present there cheered for her. She further added, "Abhi tak itne he baal aaye hain."
She playfully asked again, "Achi lag rahi hoon na main?" to which the paparazzi eagerly responded, "Haan!" Filled with gratitude, Hina blew flying kisses to the cameras, warmly thanking everyone. Despite her challenges, she radiated positivity and charm, uplifting those around her.
Later while speaking to a papparzi outlet, she said, "I was nervous... Someday, I had to come out with my real hair. Achhi lag rahi hoon ya nahi?" ( Am I looking good?)
In June 2024, Hina Khan publicly shared her cancer diagnosis, promising to face it with strength and determination. Since then, she has consistently kept her followers informed, offering insights into the emotional, mental, and physical struggles of her journey. In a recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef India, Hina opened up about the constant support of her partner, Rocky Jaiswal, throughout her fight against cancer.
The actress said, "I have scars. I have been treated surgically. He is the one who soothes those scars. He looks at them more closely than I do. He asks me, "How is it today? Is it any better?" It's hard for me to look at myself, but he does instantly. He goes to the bathroom, cries, and comes back. He doesn't even cry in front of me. He has started loving me even more than he did before."
Recently, Hina Khan embraced the essence of Ramadan by observing her first Roza of 2025. She shared glimpses of her day, from waking up for Sehri to breaking her fast at Iftaar.
