Hina Khan, Rocky Jaiswal on Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani’s TV wedding; say 'Bahut daring cheez hai, we can't do this'
Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last year, recently shared their thoughts on celebrities choosing to get married on national television. Reacting to Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani’s decision to have a televised wedding, the couple made it clear that they would never opt for such a format themselves. Hina and Rocky, who were also part of Avika and Milind’s wedding celebrations, said they prefer keeping their own wedding moments private.
The couple, who recently appeared on Elvish Yadav's podcast, shared, "Bahut daring cheez hai (It’s a very daring decision). If you ask us personally, we can’t do this.”
Rocky said, "We are a little personal. Hum zyada woh bahar nahi karte hain (We don’t really do all that in public).”
Hina added further, “Par unki apni marzi hai. Par hai Milind ek number ka kanjoos. Paise bachaye hain usne (But it’s their own choice. Milind is extremely stingy, number one. He has saved a lot of money).”
For the uninitiated, Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani tied the knot on Pati Patni Aur Panga last year on September 2025.
Speaking earlier to Times of India TV about her decision of getting married on India television, the actress had shared, "I feel truly lucky and blessed to have had the opportunity to celebrate my wedding on such a grand scale. My main intention was to make my fans a part of my special day, and I’m so happy that it actually happened. Those who have treated me like family and considered me their daughter for so many years got to witness everything, from the wedding rituals to the farewell. The way the channel executed it was so beautiful that we never once felt like it was a shoot; it all felt so real. Seeing people’s reactions now that it has aired makes me even happier. I recently came across a video of a girl watching an episode and crying, and her caption said it felt like she was right there with us that it felt personal. That’s exactly what I had hoped for, and to see that emotion come alive is truly a blessing."
