Hina Khan encourages fans to have a 'healthy and balanced diet' during Ramadan
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Hina Khan, who is currently celebrating the holy month of Ramadan, requested all to maintain a 'healthy and balanced' diet during Ramadan. She also urged everyone to avoid overeating during iftar.
She pointed out that eating heavy, fried, and sugary food after hours of fasting can cause weight gain, along with digestive issues and fatigue.
Hina took to her official Instagram account and shared a few stories, she wrote, "It is a very common practice to overeat during iftar. I know after hours of fasting, the body often craves quick energy, leading to high consumption of, particularly heavy, fried, and sugary khaana, which eventually leads to weight gain, digestive issues, Fatique..(sic)."
She advised everyone to eat carefully during the holy month, suggesting that they break their fast slowly and take small pauses between meals. Hina further requested everyone to focus on their fibre and protein intake.
"Lets just not indulge in these cultural habits and eat wisely..Break the fast gradually, chew slowly, take breaks and hydrate smartly..Prioritise Fibre and Protein In your diet..Once in a while is ok but don't make it a habit..", added Hina.
She concluded the IG stores, urging all to "Keep it healthy and Balanced Don't shock your body."
Recently, Hina Khan shared a useful tip for those who want to continue working out while fasting during Ramadan.
Posting a photo from the gym on her Instagram Stories, she advised people to keep their workouts light while fasting so they don’t feel too thirsty. At the same time, she stressed that staying consistent is key to achieving better and lasting results.
She wrote, "Workouts during Ramadan, Go slow and easy so that you don't feel thirsty..But keep moving," along with an evil eye, folded hands, and a pink flower emoji.
Hina was last seen on the small screen with husband Rocky Jaiswal in TV show Pati Patni Aur Panga.
