Hiba Nawab in advanced talks to headline supernatural thriller
Last seen in Jhanak, Hiba Nawab has been approached to play the protagonist in an upcoming supernatural thriller. The show will be produced by the makers of Ek Mahanayak – Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Kashibai Bajirao Ballal. The actress is currently in advanced talks for the project, and the deal is expected to be locked soon.
While, Hiba remained unavailable for comment, a source associated with the show informed us, “It is a thriller and Hiba is almost locked for the role of the protagonist. The show will feature two male leads, and we are in the process of finalising the cast soon, with an emphasis on strong performances and layered characters.”
In a previous conversation with us, while speaking about her early journey, Hiba, who moved from Bareilly to Mumbai at a young age to pursue her acting dreams, had said, “I was a naïve 16-year-old when I moved to Mumbai. I thought life was all about chilling and partying with friends. Had I not been guided by my family, I could have easily got carried away by the glamour and not done much with my life.”
The actress, who has been part of shows such as Jijaji Chhat Per Hain, Woh Toh Hai Albelaa, Bhaag Bakool Bhaag, Meri Sasu Maa, Tere Sheher Mein, and Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar, further added, “I have made many mistakes, both personal and professional, but thankfully, my parents and siblings always nudged me in the right direction and helped me stay focused on my career.”
Talking about her relationship status, Hiba had shared that she was single. When asked about the kind of partner she would like, she said, “Like any other young girl, I want to fall in love. I don’t have any preconceived ideas about the kind of person I’d like to marry, but a love marriage would be wonderful.”
