Shark Tank India’s
Amit Jain shared a glimpse into his Diwali shopping with his mother. The actor posted a video stating that this year he thought of visiting the local artisans and supporting them on Diwali.
He shared that Diwali shopping would be his mother’s solo ritual but this time, he wanted to change that and accompany her. He wrote, “Jaipur, Maa aur Diwali pe kuch passionate dhande walo se baat-cheet! Kaafi saalo se Maa ne Diwali shopping ko ek solo ritual banaya hua tha.
But it was about time this changed. So, aaj local markets chal kar kuch handmade kaarigari, or rather, jaadugari dekhte hain. Sath hi Jaipuri artisans ke talent aur hustle ke baare mein baat karte hain, aur sath Diwali manaate hain. Kyuki jab tak dil roshan nahi, Diwali Diwali nahi!”
Together Amit and his mother ventured into the streets of Jaipur to explore the realm of handcrafted creations and pay homage to the workmanship of local artisans.
Their journey took them through bustling markets where they interacted with artisans admired their craftsmanship and extended support towards their endeavours.
He also gave a glimpse into his Diwali celebration with his family, kids and friends. The entrepreneur also conducted a pooja at home.
