Jasleen Matharu shot into the limelight when she participated in ‘Bigg Boss 12’ with her guru, bhajan samrat Anup Jalota. And now, her Instagram post, which shows her in a cute night dress, wearing sindoor and chooda, has sent the media into a tizzy. So, has Jasleen Matharu finally tied the knot? If yes, then with whom? Well, breathe easy. Seems, she dolled up like a bride just for the feel.

She tells us, “I was listening to ‘Chupke Se’ (from ‘Saathiya’) and the song gave me the feel of a wedding. I performed to it as I would like to on my

wedding

night and posted it on my social media page. It was just to experience a wedding feel while performing to the song. Ever since, I have been inundated with calls inquiring whether I have got married. Agar Jasleen ki shaadi hui hai toh poori duniya ke saamne aa hi jaayegi. However, I am not averse to the idea of tying the knot secretly. If I find the right man who understands me, I won’t think twice before getting married to him on the same night.”

So, what’s her idea of an ideal partner? “Jisko dekh kar dil ki ghanti baj jaaye. Someone who understands me well and loves me the way I am. Mera gussa bhi samjhe aur pyaar bhi,” she replies, adding, “The

lockdown

has trained me well and I am doing all household chores on my own. I do jhaadu, pocha and cooking. I think I am wedding-ready.”

Has her guru bhajat samrat Anup Jalota contacted her ever since the ‘wedding’ picture has become a talking point? “No, he hasn’t called me for that yet (laughs!). However, we spoke on the phone yesterday and he told me that he has found a match for me. The guy is based in Canada and he likes me a lot. So, Anupji ne bola ki agar mera kanyadaan woh kar rahe hain toh ladka bhi wohi dhoondhenge,” she signs off.
