', will be weighing 10kg more in the show. And the credit goes to her

Rajputana

costume. “My costume is drastically different from that of other women in the show. It is fashioned in Rajputana style and mirrors the grandness and heritage of that period. It is also the heaviest costume amongst the cast and weighs 10kg with the jewellery. It takes approximately one-and-a-half hour for me to get ready, but I am in love with my look,” the actress tells us, adding, “I took up this show because I love history and this story is iconic. I am very excited to play Jodha as I can relate to the character of a loving mother.”
Set in the

Mughal

era, the historical drama will soon go on air and the actress is doing everything to get the nuances right. “I am watching the British series The Crown these days as it helps me understand the nuances of a queen and get the character graph correct. I am very excited and looking forward to this new journey,” she says.
