Gulki Joshi set to return to theatre after 5 years; the actress will be seen in a romantic comedy play

Gulki Joshi, who was last seen playing the lead in Maddam Sir, is all set to make a comeback to her first love - theatre. The actress will be seen in the play titled Pyaar Mein Twist. The play revolves around a young city girl, who hopes to meet her Mr Right, who is an ideal guy, but life has different plans for her.
Gulki acted in a play five years ago.After that she got busy with her TV shows. A source said, "The actress is playing the role of a girl named Avni. She is a young and cheerful and is ambitious. She wants to live a good life." The actress has always loved doing theatre and after a five-year break, Gulki wanted to return to her first love.
The actress started her career with a show on Doordarshan and then went on to do other shows. She became a household name with Maddam Sir. In an earlier interview, she had said, "It felt incredible to play a strong role. A woman, who is in a strong position and is also emotional at the same time but she doesn't like what we see in other daily soaps. I enjoy playing Haseena a lot. It is one of the most challenging and satisfying roles of my career. " The actress had also added, "I want to do something totally different now. I had been hearing scripts." Gulki's last show Maddam Sir revolved around four police officers and their journey as the came across different situations in life.
