Glee’s Bolly twist

Fans of Glee will be pleasantly surprised that the popular musical TV show is likely to get an Indian tadka in the new season.
There’s a possibility that writers will include a plot that has a new Indian character (possibly a girl) who will introduce the group to Bollywood and Indian music.
It seems the producers want to pull out all stops to stay loyal to their fanbase and also rope in a newer audience.In the past, shows like So You Think You Can Dance and the Emmy award-winning sitcom The Big Bang Theory have had an Indian angle.
A source reveals, “Glee writers are planning to introduce an Indian character who will introduce Bollywood songs to the group. There will also be a performance on a popular song. However, it isn’t clear which number it will be. The producers are in the process of getting a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the rights to the song.”
Among the characters, it will be either Britney (Heather Morrison) or Kurt (Chris Colfer) who will dance to the song.
