Off-roading in NCR wasn’t really a part of Gaurav Chopraa’s itinerary when he visited the area recently, but as soon as he reached the off-roading zone, he was maneuvering the vehicle like a pro in no time. As he drove around, the Delhi boy opened up about the thrills of off-roading, reminisced about how every homecoming used to feel like a celebration and why Delhi is not the same since his parents passed away.

‘DELHI WAS ALWAYS HOME BUT THAT HAS CHANGED’
For Gaurav, Delhi always meant coming back to his parents. But ever since they passed away in 2020, the city, he says, has changed for him. “Delhi meant you would get off at the airport and go to mummy and papa, and it would either be something they would be looking forward to or a surprise. 99% of the time I would not even tell my friends that I was there because I would think that main 3-4 mahine baad aaya hoon, just for two-three days, so one would want to spend time with family. Now, I get off at the airport and go to a hotel,” he adds.
