From Sumbul Touqeer to Afsana Khan: Bigg Boss contestants who suffered a panic attack inside the house

In Bigg Boss 16, viewers witnessed Sumbul and Shalin undergoing severe panic attacks in different instances. This is not the first time a famous person had experienced a serious emotional breakdown or panic attack in the show. There have been similar situations in the past, take a look:

Recently, Sumbul Touqeer suffered a severe panic attack after her argument with Shalin and Tina. Her conversation with her father created a major stir in the house and when she was confronted about the same, she began to cry inconsolably and suffered anxiety and panic. Nimrit had to request Bigg Boss to send a doctor as soon as possible for Sumbul.

When Shalin Bhanot pushed Archana Gautam by mistake, all the housemates retaliated against him and Sajid Khan completely lost his cool over Shalin. This affected Shalin so much that he suffered a panic attack. Later, Bigg Boss asked him to seek medical help but Shalin ended up making things worse for himself by questioning the doctor's educational qualifications.

When Afsana Khan wasn't given a ticket to the VIP area, she lost her calm. This irritated her, and she felt 'deceived' by her pals. She shouted that she was the target of everyone's attention and said that relationships are inappropriate in the Bigg Boss house. Afsana quickly lost control, began to scream, and began stroking herself. She lost control of her emotions and even attempted to harm herself with a kitchen knife during this incident.

In the early episodes of Bigg Boss 15, Pratik Sehajpal too had a major meltdown. When Jay Bhanushali insulted his mother, the reality star lost his composure. He lost his cool due to the insults. In Bigg Boss 13, Arti Singh experienced a severe anxiety attack inside the home after a major argument with Paras Chhabra. During their altercation, the latter uttered a few hurtful comments that had an impact on her. The actress' innerwears were spotted laying around during the War of the Wards, according to Paras. Following this, Arti argued with Sidharth Shukla and complained to him for not speaking in her favour. After the disagreement, she experienced a mental collapse as well as an anxiety attack.
