Hindi television has a long list of actresses who are hugely popular among the audiences. They have played the role of a sanskari bahu on-screen, became household names, and their shows quickly gain popularity as well. Viewers have mostly seen him in a saree or salwar kameez, performing the role of a dutiful wife or daughter. But these artists didn't shy away from breaking the mould and performing bold scenes in web series. From Hina Khan to Shweta Tiwari, here's a list of TV actors who stunned viewers with their daring performances in the series:

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 contestant Nia Sharma won hearts with her role in Ek Haazaron Mein Meri Behena, Naagin, Jamai Raja and other TV shows. The actress played a different avatar in Vikram Bhatt's OTT shows Twisted and Jamai Raja 2.0. She even kissed a female co-star in Twisted.

Shweta Tiwari, who played Prerna in Kasauti Zindagi Ki, quickly became a big star. She eventually played the mother in the show Parvarish. In Hum Tum and Them, Shweta shared personal moments with her co-star Akshay Oberoi. She also shot a lip-lock scene with her co-star.

Shama Sikander, the Baalveer actress, appeared in Vikram Bhatt's Maaya, a series based on 50 Shades of Grey. On the show, she had many bold scenes.
