From Shoaib Ibrahim receiving Eidi from wife Dipika Kakar's dad to the couple revealing son's teething issues; here's how the Ibrahim family celebrated their first Eid with Ruhaan

Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar celebrated their son Ruhaan's first Eid with them and shared happy moments through their VLOG. They showcased special arrangements, introduced guests, and highlighted Dipika's culinary delights. Unfortunately, they couldn't celebrate Eid as per their plan due to Ruhaan's illness. Shoaib Ibrahim's latest Vlog started with Dipika’s father wishing him Eid Mubarak and also giving him eidi. He also mentioned how Dipika and Shoaib have been taking care of his clothes. Shoaib also showed how they tied a black saafa on their son Ruhaan’s head. However, he could not shoot much as he started to get irritated. However, he made sure to share photos of Ruhaan wearing the black safa. He shared glimpses of his mother and other housemates Eid looks. (Photo: Instagram)

Shoaib then shared a sneak peek of the delicacies that wife Dipika cooked on the occasion of Eid. He showed how Dipika cooked biryani differently this time. He shared, “Things are not going as per plan as Ruhaan is not keeping well. He is getting cranky and Dipika is with him right now. So, I am serving the Biryani which is not the usual one. Dipika has made it differently this time.” Shoaib then asked for reviews about the biryani from everyone and both Dipika and Shoaib’s mom praised and the latter even compared it to Yakni pulao. Dipika and Shoaib then spoke to their fans and revealed the reason behind shooting an incomplete Vlog. He shared, “Aisa nahi ke main chahta tha aisa banau. Obviously, Eid saal mein Ek baar aati hai and it was Ruhaan’s first Eid and we had too many plans. But it’s fine sometimes things don’t go as per plans as kids are involved.” (Photo: Instagram)

Dipika and Shoaib further shared, “When you are with a baby things will not work out as per your plans, everything happens according to the baby. That particular day he was behaving very cranky and irritated. He has been having a fever since the last 6/7 days due to teething.” (Photo: Instagram)

The couple continued, “That day he was very unwell. Even while Dipika was tying him a safa on head he was all fine for 5-7 mins but then he started crying. When he began crying nobody felt like recording the video or celebrating the way we wanted.. One of the reasons why we ended the video abruptly was because we wanted to have a part two but we couldn’t shoot as he’s teething. He has been having a fever since the last 6/7 days but with God's grace he is doing fine now.” (Photo: Instagram)

Dipika shared, “When he had fever for 2-3 days I spoke to doctors and other friends who are new parents, they all told me that it is the process of teething. It will get better with time. But as parents you go into panic mode..” (Photo: Instagram)

Shoaib, added, “Now, we know that this is the way it is ab aage Kabhi dusra baccha hua toh we know ke aisi cheezein hoti hai. As parents, you experience so many things for the first time. Knowing something and experiencing it first hand are two different things. This is the reason why we could not make our Eid Vlog the way we had envisioned.” (Photo: Instagram)
