From Reem Shaikh accidentally burning her face on Laughter Chefs to Divyanka Tripathi’s multiple fractures: TV celebs who got severely injured while shooting

Reem Sameer Shaikh has been in the limelight lately after clips of her accidentally burning her face while cooking on the sets of Laughter Chefs’ have been going around. While the actress is currently recovering, she has kept fans updated on her health status. Over the years several actors like Divyanka Tripathi, Shalin Bhanot and others have had severe injuries on the sets while shooting. Here’s a look:-

Reem recently suffered burns while cooking on the set of Laughter Chefs. She had visible burn marks on her face from the incident. She revealed the same on social media recently and expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from fans during this challenging time. Sharing some pictures ahead of her birthday, she wrote, " 3.9.24. I met with an unfortunate incident, but God saved me from an accident that could’ve changed my life. What are miracles, not your favourite chocolate appearing in your hand with a click of your fingers but God's timing and planning? I’m grateful to the almighty for protecting me from what could’ve changed my life."

Divyanka Tripathi has sustained injuries quite a few times. The most recent was one where she had her bone and forearm fractured while shooting for a web show. We also injured her back while rehearsing for her performance on Nach Baliye 8. The actress, who wowed audiences and delighted fans with her dance routines alongside her husband Vivek Dahiya on the show, aggravated an old back injury.

Ridhima Pandit, the lead actress of Bahu Hamari Rajnikant, had an unfortunate accident while filming on set of the show. During a scene where she had to run into a glass door, Ridhima opted not to use a body double. Unfortunately, this decision led to her dislocating her shoulder.

Deepika Singh sustained an injury on set when a light stand accidentally fell on her head during filming. Following the incident, she underwent an MRI scan, which revealed swollen nerves in her brain that were causing severe pain. The doctors advised her to take bed rest for three days to recover.

Actress Vahbiz Dorabjee sustained an injury while filming for the show Bahu Hamari Rajnikant. She slipped on the stairs and hurt herself badly. The show's producers granted Vahbiz a few days off to rest and recover.

Pavitra Punia, known for her role as Nidhi in the popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, sustained an injury while filming a scene. During the shoot, her high heels became caught in the camera trolley, causing her to twist her ankle. In severe pain, the actress was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

Actor Shalin Bhanot, who portrayed Duryodhan in Suryaputra Karn, sustained a serious injury while filming a fight sequence during the time. He was struck by a heavy mace, causing a significant wound near his right eye. Despite being in immense pain, Shalin displayed his professionalism by continuing to shoot and complete the scene. However, when the swelling persisted, he was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is currently winning hearts with KKK 14.

Abhishek Malik, who was seen in TV show Bhagyalakshmi, once met with an accident while shooting for a fight sequence. "I was shooting for a fight scene where I had to fight with Manish Goel. Suddenly, one of the fighters threw an impromptu punch, hitting my nose, which then twisted completely. I managed to get it back in place, but it is hurting like hell," said Abhishek.
