From paying for his parents' flight from the winning amount in Bigg Boss Marathi to facing casting couch; Shiv Thakare makes some intriguing revelations

Shiv Thakare has been a heartthrob with his stint in reality shows. In the recent podcast with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Shiv got candid about how his life changed after doing reality shows. The reality star shared that he never says no to work even if it is a small thing, he would do it. Take a look at everything Shiv had to share about his life:

During Bigg Boss Marathi, despite winning the show I barely earned from it. The winning amount was Rs 25 Lakhs but from that, the last two contestants lost the challenge and Rs 8 Lakhs got deducted from the winning amount. After tax deduction only Rs 11 Lakhs were credited. From that also I had to pay the stylist, they didn't even sponsor the flight tickets for my parents so had to pay that as well.

Bigg Boss Hindi changed my life. I had never imagined I would get paid this much. After the show, I used to get a hefty amount for posting one reel, guest appearances and all. When my manager would say they are paying less, I would be like this is huge for me. I will go to the event. The amount that I am receiving, I had never thought that I would earn that much in a month. So I tell them not to cancel, one must respect work.

After doing three shows, Bigg Boss, Khatron and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, I realised 'bhai tu mehenga hogaya hai'. This one year changed my whole life. My motto is to keep working, there may come more talented people but I want to keep working and hustling for myself.

When I got a call for Bigg Boss Hindi, I had prayed to Bappa that wherever I was, I would come walking to Siddhivinayak if things went right. When I got finalised for the show, I was in Malad and I walked from Malad to Siddhivinayak Temple to thank Bappa. I had never imagined that I would earn this much and the fame that I got.

I want to venture into acting, I did theatre for 5-6 years and then I was a part of Anupam Kher's acting school. I am still working on myself. I have received offers too but I want people to say that I am fit for the character so I am working on it. Now, people have a lot of options too, there are 100s waiting for a chance. I am offered two Marathi films and have signed up for one too.

This is the area, I went with my friend for an audition. That man told me that I would have to sign the contract but I would have to pay Rs 50,000 in advance then they would give me work that gets me Rs 25,000 per day. So I told them that I don't have the money, get me work and take the money that I get in the first 15 days. He refused and said, 'naye ho kya'.

After Bigg Boss Marathi, I had an event to attend and I went to a renowned designer, the manager between us asked me to come to their studio where they would take my measurements and then give me clothes. When I went there, one of the team members liked me. I went there but they weren't showing me clothes. He told me that we have opened a spa, and all. I got irritated and I asked them to give me clothes. I left then. He kept texting me when will I come back.
