From Nitesh Pandey to Vaibhavi Upadhyaya: A look at TV actors' shocking deaths that shook the nation

The recent week has been extremely shocking for the Television Industry. In a matter of just 3-4 days, 3 prominent celebrities from the TV Industry passed away. The three of them had different causes of death, Nitesh Pandey died of cardiac arrest, Vaibhavi Upadhyaya met with a horrifying car accident and Aditya Singh Rajput allegedly succumbed to a fall in the bathroom. Take a look at the sudden demise of TV celebs that stirred the whole fraternity.

Anupamaa actor Nitesh Pandey died due to a cardiac arrest in a hotel room at 2 am in Igatpuri, near Nashik. The actor had gone there for his shoot. The actor's mortal remains were brought to his residence after the postmortem that took place in Nashik. Nitesh's sudden demise left the whole entertainment industry in shock. The actor is survived by his parents, wife Arpita Pandey and son Aarav.

Vaibhavi's sudden death was completely unexpected. Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai's JD Majethia addressed the media and shared the incident. He said, "Vaibhavi and her fiance were driving down the road when they allowed a truck coming from the opposite direction to pass by. Vaibhavi's fiance was driving the car, and the truck brushed up against it as it passed. That jolted the car, and Vaibhavi was thrown out into a valley that was on her side at the time. The jolt was quite strong, and the car is thought to have toppled as a result. Fortunately, the fiance escaped with only minor injuries to his hands. But Vaibhavi was gone in a flash. Vaibhavi, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained head injuries and went into cardiac arrest."

On May 22, actor Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead in his Andheri flat's bathroom. The actor's servant and watchman carried him to the bed and rushed to the doctor, who declared him brought dead. There were speculations of drug overdose, however, DCP Krishnakant Upadhyay refuted the claims. The cause was then determined to be the fall as it bruised his head and some parts behind his left ear.

Tunisha Sharma, who played Shehzaadi Mariam in Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul, died by suicide last year. According to reports, the actress hanged herself on the sets of their TV show on December 24 in the makeup area of her co-star Sheezan Khan. Tunisha's mother had filed a complaint against ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan, accusing him of abeting her daughter's suicide. He was held in custody, and after a 3-month long investigation, the actor was released.

On November 11, actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi's sudden death after collapsing during a workout session left the entire TV Industry shocked. He was on a treadmill when he collapsed suddenly and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.

On October 16, 2022, Vaishali Takkar, who gained stardom with the TV shows Sasural Simar Ka and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, was found hanging in her Indore flat. The 30-year-old actress died by suicide and left a letter. In her suicide letter, she blamed her death on her neighbour Rahul Navlani and his wife. The actress accused the husband-wife duo of tormenting her mentally.

After being hospitalized for more than 40 days, the renowned comedian died on September 21. On August 10, the actor collapsed at a gym and was rushed to the AIIMS hospital, in Delhi. He was hospitalized for 43 days, and his death devastated his millions of admirers. He is survived by his wife Shikha, and their two children.

Deepesh Bhan, popularly known as Malkhan in the iconic TV serial Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain actor, passed away on July 23, 2022. Deepesh was only 41 years old and died due to cardiac arrest. Deepesh is survived by his wife and a young son. Many of his friends and co-stars were surprised by his passing.
