From Niharika Chouksey to Paras Priyadarshan; TV celebs who quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's 3rd generation within a year

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been the longest-running show on television. Fans have been loving the new generation of the show but recently many artists quit the show. Take a look at the TV celebs who quit the show within a year:

Niharika Chouksey played the role of Nishtha but due to no growth in the character, she decided to quit the show and explore other opportunities in web and TV. In an exclusive conversation with BT, she shared, "I waited for 6 months for my character to grow but nothing happened." Currently, the actress is playing the lead in the show Faltu.

Preyal Shah had entered the show as Reem the wedding planner and Vansh's love interest but later her track vanished and the actress exited the show in a short while.

Kashish entered the show in a pivotal role as Anisha who was Kairav's love interest and Abhimanyu's sister. Soon after the love track Kashish made an exit from the show and was said that she has quit it but later Kashish returned for a short track to bring a major twist to the show and then she wrapped her stint with Anisha's death in Yeh Rishta.

Sharan played the role of Vansh Goenka, he quit the show due to no growth or screen space for the character. In an exclusive conversation with ETimesTV, Sharan had shared, "It was quite disappointing but I had to quit. From the month of April, my character was not getting enough screen space and I had spoken to the makers about it. Even my track with Reem was slacked off and the reason they shared was Covid-19. I shared my concerns with them but they asked me to wait. I did hopefully wait but then my per day shooting also began to cut short and instead of 20-25 days I was barely shooting for a few days in a month."

Paras played the character of Neil Birla, the actor quit the show owing to the new track and he wanted to explore other opportunities, In an exclusive conversation with BT, Paras revealed, "I am basically from Delhi, so I am planning to spend time with my family for New Year's. Yes, my track in Yeh Rishta is over. It was a mutual decision and I do not want to comment more on that. The track had a new story and I also had my plans, so it was a mutual decision to part ways. Yeh Rishta was a great experience working with the entire team."

Mayank Arora aka Kairav Goenka recently quit the show. He made an exit on mutual understanding with the makers. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, he said, "I think it was time for the character to end, we parted ways amicably. It all ended mutually and on a good note. About the character, every role has its highs and lows in a daily soap and Kairav was a strong character so I knew it will have its track. I am going to miss the whole team, Aaru and Akshu. It becomes like a family when you are working with them every day."
