In the recent episode, Sunil Grover was seen asking Triptii Dimri "What you did with Ranbir Kapoor? I hope that was only a shoot. It wasn't real, right?" Triptii chuckled and shared that it wasn't true in reality, but was only for shooting. This left netizens in rage and slammed the comedian for making the actress uncomfortable with such a question. A user commented, "She's clearly uncomfortable with that remark and would love to just move on. That sui atki hai comment was about this whole country. Let the woman breathe ffs." Another one wrote, "third class comedy, making a woman uncomfortable."

In a recent act on the show, Krushna Abhishek was seen speaking in bad Bengali, says to Kajol, "Pachla cholo re," which he meant "walk with five people." Although "Pachla" is not a Bengali term, Krushna utilised it to provide a comical contrast to the original song's message about wandering alone. However, Bengali poet Srijato Bandyopadhyay then condemned Krushna Abhishek on Facebook, accusing him of breaching the boundary of civility and disrespecting Tagore with his gestures and comment. “There’s a subtle boundary between humour and mockery, and crossing it can be risky. Often, people disregard whom they are joking about, what they are saying, and how far they go—all in a quest to chase high ratings and make people laugh. They forget where to draw the line,” Srijato wrote.

In a podcast, Sunita Ahuja had shared that she was offered the show to replace Archana Puran Singh. She said, "Kapil told me, 'We should replace Archana with you.' I replied, 'If you remove her, at least do it properly!'" While Sunita admitted she would have enjoyed joining Kapil’s show, she revealed she wouldn't want to do due to her feud with Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah.

In a podcast, Sunil said, “Sunil Grover bahut purana lag raha hai. Wahi cheezein, ghisi piti cheezein… hasi nahi aati. Baar baar actor ke goud mein jaake baith jaana ladki banke, ghin aati hai! Phir woh ladkiyon ke naam pe kapde pehenke vulgar baate karna, aur phir baar baar award functions mein jaake bolna, ‘Aaj mujhe pata chala santre khaye bhi jaate hain.’ Sunil Grover… ab woh jitna hain accha kare, logon ko gyaan na baate.”

In a fun interaction, host Kapil Sharma had revealed that Kiku was jailed, "I have known Kiku bhai since the Comedy Circus days. He is really a good person. He follows script but also adds his own flavour and magic to the acts. He does things very cutely and in such a way that I don’t think he must have ever hurt anyone with any of his punch lines or jokes. Haan Ek baar jail gaye the ye.
