From Karan Singh Grover-Bipasha Basu to Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi: TV celebs who embraced parenthood in late 30’s and 40's

Parenthood is a new and thrilling stage in the lives of every couple. However, several tv jodis have been slow to embrace it. The reasons for each differ. Here are some examples of couples who became mom and dad in their late 30s:

Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu announced that they are pregnant on August 16. Bipasha shared a couple of pre-pregnancy pictures from their recent photoshoot. This will be their first baby and like always Bipasha looks radiant. Bipasha writes “A new time, a new phase, a new light adds another unique shade to our prism of life. Making us a little more whole than we used to be. We began this life individually and then we met each other and from then we were two. Too much love for only two seemed a little unfair for us to see…so soon, we who once were two will now become three. A creation manifested by our love, our baby will join us soon and add to our glee Thank you all, for your unconditional love, your prayers and good wishes as they are and will always be a part of us. After giving birth to their first child Lianna on August 16 the actors shared a post on their Instagram on August 16 and announced that they are pregnant with a second child. Debina and Gurmeet went on Instagram and wrote “Few decisions are divinely timed and nothing can change that...this is one such blessing..coming soon to complete us.#babyno2 #mommieagain #ontheway #pregnancydiaries #daddyagain #gurmeetchoudhary #debinabonnerjee.”

Anita (40) and Rohit (40), who married in 2013 in Goa, began thinking about starting a family after appearing on the reality show Nach Baliye. The actress became pregnant during the lockdown, and the couple joyfully announced the news via social media. Anita told TOI “The age-factor did play on my mind. Many people told me that it’s going to be tough, it overwhelms you. But once I conceived naturally, I realized that age is just a number. You need to be mentally and physically fit for everything to fall in place.”

Kishwer and Suyyash were pregnant with their baby boy Nirvair in 2016. Kishwer was 40 years old when they welcomed their baby boy. Kishwer shared a picture of her being pregnant and had captioned saying “You can now stop asking 'when are you guys gonna have a baby'. Coming Soon." The baby is due in August. Talking about the good news, Kishwer told ETimes TV, "Suyyash and my parents have wanted this since long and were quite after us to have a baby, but yet it's an unplanned baby. Suyyash and I are extremely thrilled. It is a blessing to conceive at this age naturally.”

Mahhi Vij (38) married Jay Bhanushali in 2011. In 2019, the couple announced their pregnancy in 2019. Tara, their daughter, is the couple's pride and joy, and she turned one year old in 2020 as the couple celebrated her first birthday.

Teejay Sidhu (41) and Karanvir Bohra, who already had twin daughters Bella and Vienna, were expecting their second child. The couple announced the good news during the lockdown and welcomed a baby girl in January 2020. Teejay wrote on her Instagram post “I always thought it would just be the four of us. Never imagined I'd be a #mother of three! :) Maybe a soul sees us from the other side and says, 'I want to be part of this family.' Maybe God tells that soul, 'I choose this family for you.' Maybe we have something to teach the new life.. maybe the new life has something to teach us? We don't have answers but there is some higher purpose, so we embrace these new changes. God knows what He is doing, and we trust in Him completely.”

Ankita Bhargava (39) and Karan Patel (39) married in 2015. Mehr, the couple's first child, was born in December of 2019. Last year, they celebrated her first birthday. Their world is now focused on their baby girl, and the mom and dad couldn't be happier.

Neha Dhupia (40) and her husband Angad Bedi confirmed their first child together shortly after their wedding in a Delhi Gurudwara in 2018. They had their daughter in November of the same year. She is, of course, the center of their world. In 2021, Neha and Angad once again welcomed their second baby boy and the actors shared the news on social media.

Bharti Singh(38) and Haarsh Limbachiyaa were pregnant with their first child in 2022 and recently welcomed their baby boy. Bharti posted a picture of being pregnant in a funny way, she says “santa aaega ya santi? aapko kya lagta hai jaldi comments maie batao”
