From getting trained before cooking to hilarious banters; contestant Faisu gives behind-the-scenes glimpse into Celebrity MasterChef

Contestant Faisal Shaikh, aka Mr. Faisu, offers an exciting behind-the-scenes look at Celebrity MasterChef, from rigorous training sessions to fun-filled banter. Through his vlog, he shares his journey, showcasing the challenges, learning experiences, and lighthearted moments in the kitchen. His remarkable progress and enthusiasm make his MasterChef adventure even more engaging for fans.

Getting trained by professionals prior to cooking challenges

Faisu gave a glimpse of all the contestants in the show being trained thoroughly. From getting introduced to plating, techniques, cake moulds to spices, they are being given master classes. From how much water to be poured to make daal, to type of plating to be used for different dishes, they are learning it all. Faisu shared, “Bahut pressure hai. I don’t know what to do but I am trying my best.”

Funny banter with Gaurav Khanna

During the training sessions, Gaurav jokes telling Faisu, ‘Tu master lele, main chef le leta hu. I can become a plating chef.” Faisu says, “Tu mera kar de” and Gaurav adds, “Tu mera khaana bana de.” He further says, “Rs 40 ke plate ko Rs 1000 ka plate kaise banate hai? Aise banate hai.” The contestants keep asking several questions.

Interrupting each other’s vlogs

From Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam to Rajiv Adatia, everyone kept appearing in each other’s vlogs making it a fun moment. Faisu jokes saying, “Tejasswi is international. Isne saare international dishes banake khilayi hai training me aur bolti hai, khaana banana nahi aata.” She replies, “Only our cameras will be seen in vlogs capturing each other.”

Faisu on taking up the show and seeing his ‘apron’

It is my new beginning after Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi. There are a lot of expectations from all the contestants who are in the show. Cooking is not easy. I got trained for 6-7 days before the show and I hope I cook some good dishes. I still can’t understand how they caste me. Meri Maa ko bahut ummeed hai mere se.

6/8

What happens during the cooking sessions

Faisu says, “MasterChef is not like any other show. It is very strict and serious. We do have fun but cooking is important.” The contestants get proper instructions on their dishes prior to their cooking shots. From fixing their make-up to tips on the dishes, the contestants are all prepped.

Faisu’s first day experience

I am in Masterchef and this is my life’s biggest opportunity. My first day went very well and 4 out of my 5 dishes were appreciated. Considering it was my first time cooking experience, everyone praised me. I am very happy and excited.”

8/8

Given a big fat book on cooking

Faisu showed a big fat book on cooking and said, “We need to mug up all these things and remember. Whatever dish we make, we need to write down all the ingredients. I took up studying after so many years. We need to write and then assemble all those things. First few days are going to be hectic and then it will become a habit.”
