Hina Khan has been on a tough journey battling breast cancer, but she remains strong and determined to resume work. From losing her eyelashes during chemotherapy to now seeing them grow back, she has come a long way. In a recent interaction with filmmaker Farah Khan, Hina shared her emotional moments and her experiences throughout the battle. As she nears the completion of her radiation therapy, she is eager to return to work with renewed energy.
My Eyelashes and Brows Are Back
With the chemotherapy sessions on, Hina had shared about losing her eyelashes. In Farah Khan’s vlog, as the filmmaker complimented her looks, Hina replied, “My eyelashes and eyebrows have grown back.”
How She Found Out About Having Breast Cancer
“I knew something was wrong but I had let it go. I didn’t realise ke itna kuch galat hoga. I kept delaying the tests. I didn’t want to leave the shoot and get myself checked. You don’t think so extreme, I thought I would get my tests done. I had the symptoms but I kept shooting.”
Kept Working But Not Any Major Work
Despite her diagnosis, Hina continued working on smaller projects. “I kept shooting for campaigns, ads, but not any major soap, film, or a series which required 100 people. Doctors told me to pause.”
Farah Gives Her Award to Hina
Farah Khan honoured Hina with her own award, calling her “the bravest woman in this country.” Hina, deeply moved, responded, “You are giving me your award, I am so thankful.”
Farah Makes Lotus Stem Yakhni Pulao for Hina
As a special gesture, Farah, currently on Celebrity MasterChef, prepared Lotus Stem Yakhni Pulao for Hina, given by Chef Ranveer Brar’s recipe. Hina, being a Kashmiri, was delighted to have this dish made for her.

Hina is Ready to Take on Work
Now that her radiation therapy is almost complete, Hina is excited to resume work. “Now I am all set. My radiations will finish in a couple of days. Only a few are left. After that, I am ready to take up new work. I am sending out this message to whoever I am meeting.”
