Ashneer, who became very popular after the first season of Shark Tank of India, wasn’t a part of season 2 and that came out as a big shock to the audience. In one of his earlier interviews, Ashneer revealed that once he got to know that he isn’t a part of the show anymore, he unfollowed all the other sharks. He even confirmed that the only reason he unfollowed them was because he didn’t wanted to see what’s going on in the show after he left.

Ashneer Grover took a dig at Shark Tank India Season 3 after they introduced 6 new sharks for the season (12 in total). Ashneer expressed his thought on the business based show introducing 6 new sharks. The Shark Tank India judge even called them out by saying that the third season of the show is an audition for the next season. The tweet read, “Shark Tank 3 is ‘audition’ of sharks for Shark Tank 4! The Shark Tank India judges Namita Thapar and Ashneer have had an on-going verbal spat on the internet ever since he left the show.

Namita said, 'Season 2 mein the toxicity is out for good.' hinting at Ashneer Grover's exit from the show. Later, in another interview, Ashneer called out Namita after he was asked about her by a fan. He said, “Namita is going everywhere and talking about me because maybe she misses me.. I don’t go around and talk about her so this question isn’t for me and you should rather ask her why she talks about me so much.”

The entrepreneur made major headlines after The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) registered a fraud case against him and his wife Madhuri. The two were allegedly booked for a scam of Rs 81 crore.
