From break-up to participation in Nach Baliye 9: Madhurima Tuli's rocky relationship with Vishal Aditya Singh

Ex-lovers Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh, who are currently seen as dance partners on Nach Baliye 9, did not have an easy romance. Even when they were in love, their relationship went through a rough patch, not once but twice. While they are not together anymore, the cracks are still visible when the two appear on the 'Nach' stage. Here's looking at their rocky relationship, right from the time they met to their participation on the dance reality show...

Madhurima and Vishal met on the sets of their television show 'Chandrakanta' in 2017, where the former played the title role, while the latter was seen as Veerendra Pratap Singh. The two protagonists spent time together on set and gradually fell in love with each other. Vishal liked the fact that Madhurima was happy on her own.

Even though the two were together, their relationship was quite 'on and off', according to Madhurima. They dated for more than a year but had two break-ups during the phase. In her interview to TOI in Dec 2018, Madhurima had revealed, "Our first break-up happened two months after we started dating. It was always an on-again-off-again relationship. The last time we broke up, Vishal called my mother to convince me to give it another chance. I did because I, too, was missing him and there was a lot of love."

The two eventually decided to part ways in October, 2018. Vishal had back then said, "We dated for almost a year, but we realised that the relationship has no future and decided to call it quits. There are all kinds of people in this world and everyone has a different personality. Whatever happened was unfortunate, but it is better to part when you don’t see a future together." Madhurima, however, felt it was the misunderstandings between them that led their relationship to fall apart.

Both Madhurima and Vishal are currently single. When they were asked about falling in love again, Madhurima had said, "I am scared of falling in love, I don’t think about it anymore. As of now, I am focussed on work," while Vishal had shared that he wasn't looking for a companion.

The two surprised everyone after they decided to take part in Nach Baliye 9, just a few months after their break-up. During the premiere episode of the show, Madhurima shared how she feels the show might help them resolve their differences and bring them closer. Vishal, on the other hand, told everyone that he wants to go till the end of the show.

Even though the two have decided to put their differences aside for their professional commitment, Vishal couldn't stop himself from accusing Madhurima when they were introduced in the premiere episode. He called her the 'wrong girl' for him. An infuriated Madhurima also told Vishal that he wasn't the right person for her either. She revealed how Vishal stopped giving importance to her after a while. Their heated argument made everyone go silent.

In the teaser of the upcoming episode, it is shown that Vishal and Madhurima perform on a romantic number. Their chemistry and romance makes everyone question their break-up. The two are asked by the judges to hug each other, but Vishal walks away and refuses to hug Madhurima, leaving her embarrassed on stage. Going by their current equation, it would be interesting to see how far they go in the journey.
