From being called the 'mastermind' and 'Vicky Bhaiya' to his ugly spats with wife Ankita Lokhande; A look at Vicky Jain's remarkable journey in Bigg Boss 17

Vicky Jain has been the fans' favourite contestant in the Bigg Boss 17 house. However, fans manifesting him lifting the trophy but he got evicted just a few days before the finale. Vicky has had a remarkable journey in the house where he unleashed all shades himself, being a friend, brother, individual contestant and so on. Bigg Boss gave him lifelong recognition as Vicky Bhaiya in the house. Take a look at his memorable journey:

Vicky Jain made a grand entry into the Bigg Boss 17 house with his wife Ankita Lokhande. Salman Khan also made the duo recreate their wedding vows before entering the house. The couple surely made some entry into the house and the first person they bonded with was Isha Malviya.

Vicky and Munawar were two contenders who were not only good friends in the house but also chalked many plans together. In one of the weekend ka vaars, Salman Khan and even Bigg Boss called them the masterminds of the house. There were instances when Neil, Aishwarya and others tried to decode Vicky's game in the show.

After the Weekend Ka Vaar when Salman Khan called out Vicky and Munawar and revealed their game plan in front of the housemates. Bigg Boss used to constantly intervene in Vicky's conversations with the housemates and set a completely different narrative. This made Vicky hit the low phase and digress from the game.

Each day in the Bigg Boss house witnessed some ugly fights between Ankita and Vicky. From being emotionally unavailable, and not understanding each other to many more allegations that both Vicky and Ankita made against each other in the house.

Bigg Boss called Ankita and Vicky into the confession room to meet their mothers. That was the first time Vicky broke down into tears and confessed to his mother that he was misunderstood in the house and he missed them.

Time and again on all Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, Salman Khan had called out Vicky Jain for not supporting his wife Ankita. Salman had also mentioned that Vicky looks like a dominant and manipulative husband in the house. While even Karan Johar called him out for not taking a stand for Ankita when his mother was slamming her. Karan also reminded him, "Ankita was crying and apologising to you and your mother for more than 30-45mins and you didn't even bother asking what happened, why was she apologising so much."

Vicky Jain had two major controversies in the house that went viral overnight. One was when Vicky and Sana were caught holding hands in the garden area and the other one was when netizens believed Vicky was making Ayesha uncomfortable by constantly touching her. Time and again there were instances, which irked Ankita and she confronted him by saying, "You are getting portrayed as a womaniser outside which you are not."

During the torture task, the housemates witnessed a major crack in Vicky and Munawar's friendship. The fight began with stealing and hiding the spices it reached to Munawar falling from the tree. Munawar then held Vicky's neck and both broke into an ugly fight. Both of them passed some derogatory remarks at each other and brought their personal matters into the fight.

Vicky and Mannara's friendship was the talk of the Bigg Boss especially in the final month. There were instances when Mannara purposely poked Ankita by talking to Vicky as she knew that Ankita was against this friendship. There were many times that Ankita and Vicky had a major showdown because of Mannara. Be it when the ladies made below-the-belt remarks on each other, the purposeful poking and so on.

During the media round, Vicky went on his knees and apologised to Ankita, he said, "Therapy yahin hain, I am going to just say sorry to her. I am sorry Manku, please forgive me for my mistakes. I would like to mention one thing that when you are locked inside the house for so many days, you don't realise your mistakes. In the outside world also only we two stay together with each other and there is no one to make us realise our fights. This is the first time in 100 days that so many people are telling me the same thing and asking me the same question, which makes me realise that I was doing a few things which I shouldn't have done. I am not that person and I have stood by Ankita everywhere with a proud feeling of being her husband. I am so thankful that I am on this show only because of her. Main iss journey mein shayad itna kho gaya, ke woh ehsaas hi kho gaya, tha and I really want to say sorry to her for everything that I've done wrong. I promise I will make it up to you."

In a shocking turn of events, Bigg Boss announced a mid-week eviction from the house. While Bigg Boss got its top 5 finalists of the house, the one who got evicted from the race was Vicky Jain. Ankita Lokhande broke down in tears and wasn't ready to let him go. However, Vicky had to make an exit. Later, Mannara comforted Ankita and also tried to cheer her up in the house. Ankita said, "You played the game really well. You came here with no strong backing, or following but made your place in the show. I am proud to be your wife. I can proudly say that I am Vicky Jain's wife Ankita Lokhande."
