The tension between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek is believed to have started around 2016 when Krushna allegedly made sarcastic remarks about his uncle, which did not sit well with Govinda. During the promotions of Jagga Jasoos, Govinda appeared on several television shows, including The Kapil Sharma Show, but noticeably avoided his nephew’s show, further fueling speculation about their strained relationship.

At an event, Govinda voiced his frustration with Krushna Abhishek, accusing him of profiting from insulting others on television. He revealed that he was particularly hurt by Krushna’s “Mama rakha hai” remark and even called him home to address the issue. In a startling disclosure, Sunita Ahuja, wife of actor Govinda, revealed that comedian Kapil Sharma once considered replacing Archana Puran Singh on his show. Recalling the conversation, Sunita shared, “Kapil told me, ‘We should replace Archana with you.’ I replied, ‘If you remove her, at least do it properly!’” While she admitted that she would have enjoyed being a part of The Kapil Sharma Show, Sunita made it clear that her ongoing feud with Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah prevents her from joining. Arriving alone without Krushna, she bypassed the gathered reporters and headed straight inside. Her visit had sparked speculation that it could be a step toward mending their strained relationship.
