Popular TV actress Nehha Pendse, who was previously loved in the role of Sanjana Hiteshi in the sitcom ‘May I Come In Madam?’, is all set to step in one of the most popular sitcoms today, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, as Anita Bhabhi. As the actress braces herself to impress the audience with her performance in the show, let’s take a look at her journey so far…

Nehha Pendse is a popular television actress and film actress. She had started acting in movies as a child actor from the movie Pyaar Koi Khel Nahi in 1999. She has been seen in multiple TV shows and a few popular Bollywood movies as well, ever since she started her acting career. Apart from Hindi, Nehha has acted in other language movies too, like Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. Nehha grabbed limelight when she tied the knot with Shardul Singh Bayas in January 2020. They married after dating each other for three months. Nehha even faced a lot of trolling for marrying a divorcee, but she faced it all strongly and even gave befitting replies to the trolls.

In one of her interviews to BT after marriage, Nehha had stated, “Why are people talking about Shardul being a divorcee? It’s not that I am a virgin either. I appreciate the fact that he took chances with women he was in love with, unlike in my case where the men disappeared just when the relationship could have culminated into marriage. Nehha had gotten caught-up in rumours about being asked to lose weight or quit the show during May I Come In Madam. There were reports that apparently the makers of the show had warned Nehha to lose the excess weight or she might get replaced. The actress is now ready to step into the shoes of Saumya Tondon and play the new Anita Bhabhi in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain. Nehha is known to be the first choice as Anita Bhabhi by the makers after Saumya left, and had even been approached then. Though things haven't worked out at that point of time, they reconnected with her later and then the deal was finalised.
