From Aashika Bhatia to Shiv Thakare: Bigg Boss contestants who had major meltdowns in the show

Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been entertaining the audience with the NOK-jokes among the contestants. It gets more entertaining when it’s Weekend Ka Vaar with host Salman Khan. However, because of the harsh environment in the house, some contestants often break down into tears or have a huge meltdown. From Aashika Bhatia having a meltdown because of being 'targeted by the housemates' to Shiv Thakare breaking down for not being trusted by his friends in the house, a look at other contestants who had a meltdown in the House of Bigg Boss:

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actress Aashika Bhatia, who entered the Bigg Boss OTT 2 as a wildcard contestant, had a major meltdown in the house after all the contestants started targeting her in the show and called her ‘zero’ and ‘unnoticed’. Aashika couldn’t control her emotions and broke down in tears during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Sunday. Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Pooja Bhatt and others tried to console her after the shock waves task in the show last night. Aashika went on and said “I am very disturbed with what happened in the house today. Everyone is targeting me I cannot be fake if I get fake then my mother and even myself would not be real. This is real me and I cannot change it.”

During one of the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, Jiya Shankar went through a breakdown after she read some mean comments said by the contestants in the house against her. Jiya read the comments that said, “Jad says that Jiya is like his daughter but his actions show otherwise (Their bond is more like lovers and less like a father-daughter, which they claim). However, Jiya was unable to guess who said this and was told by the guest Terence Lewis that it was Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani. Jiya started crying and stated, “I can’t believe anyone can say such a thing about me and Jad.. this is very disgusting. I no longer know who are my people in the house.”

Cyrus Broacha, who entered the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house with full enthusiasm, was unable to adjust in the house and had a major breakdown in the show. Cyrus requested Bigg Boss as well as Salman Khan to let him leave the house. During the Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman tried to pump up Cyrus' spirit and asked him to not leave just because he isn't able to handle the pressure. But Cyrus later left the show due to some family emergency, he made an exit from the show. Everyone along with Cyrus was shocked.

Sumbul Touqeer experienced a serious panic attack following an altercation with Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta in Bigg Boss 16 house. Her chat with her father caused quite a stir in the house, and when she was challenged about it, she burst into tears and suffered from worry and terror. Nimrit had made a request to Bigg Boss to send a doctor for Sumbul as quickly as possible.

Shalin Bhanot was one of the strongest contestants in the Bigg Boss 16 house but after his fight with Tina Datta, he was feeling cornered by everyone in the house and was on the verge of depression and mental breakdown. Shalin could not take it anymore and broke down in the confession room. He asked Bigg Boss to let him leave the house as he doesn’t want to stay in it. Shalin further added, “Is this room soundproof? There are some things. There is no one to talk to in this house. It is stupid. It is ridiculous. Mujhe yeh ghar kaat raha hai. Kaatne ko daud raha hai. I am losing my sh*t right now. Can’t do this. Please get me off the grid.”

One of the most loved contestants from the Bigg Boss 16 house, Shiv Thakare was called into the confession room by Bigg Boss after he saw him being heavy at heart. Shiv broke down in the confession room and revealed that he is missing his family. Shiv further added “I was missing my family and I couldn't hold it back. I wish there was someone with whom I could talk to. I kept feeling that am I going wrong in this game? People think he has done Bigg Boss Marathi, he would do all planning and plotting but I actually play from my heart and I have always kept friendship over all this. I am only concerned about what my mother is watching. I try not to break anybody's heart in this house. People think he must be planning something that's why I have come close to Shalin. I am close to everyone, there is no planning. I just wanted everyone to walk together. When weekend ka vaar happened, I didn't see my name coming up so I got tensed about whether I am playing ok or not. Even one word of appreciation would boost me."

In the sixteenth season of Bigg Boss, Priyanka and Archana had a clash over kitchen responsibilities. Priyanka was unable to contain her emotions during the debate, and she broke down and sobbed.

Nimrit, who was another contestant of the famous Mandali of Bigg Boss 16, had a breakdown when Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Archana Gautan called her a weak contestant after the nomination task. Nimrit had then stated that she was done with being called weak. Nimrit added, “I'm sick and tired of being called a weak contestant, fu** you all, I am not, I am irritated.”

During Bigg Boss 15, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra fell in love. Throughout the show, we observed the two have disagreements and misunderstandings. Something similar happened on one of the tasks, when Tejasswi and Karan clashed. It culminated in a massive brawl. Tejasswi and Karan both questioned each others affection at the moment. They were on the verge of breaking up when greater judgment triumphed. Tejasswi, on the other hand, struggled to contain her emotions and eventually burst into tears.

Pratik Sehajpal also had a dramatic meltdown in the early episodes of Bigg Boss 15. The reality show star lost his cool after Jay Bhanushali disrespected his mother. He lost his temper as a result of the insults. Pratik slapped himself furiously while sobbing uncontrollably. He also stated that he was willing to leave the show.

Devoleena was a contestant of Bigg Boss 13. During a task, everyone was required to put down a secret that no one knew about. Devoleena confessed something too intimate for her and her family at the moment. Her mom suffers from a mental disorder, she revealed to her housemates. And burst into tears after confessing.

Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat met and fell in love on BB OTT. The two have now mutually parted ways. Shamita was pleased when Raqesh entered BB15. He had to leave the show after a few days due to a health condition. Shamita was anticipating him to return, but she was disappointed when he opted to leave the show. She was unable to control her emotions and ended up crying in front of Neha Bhasin.

Rashami Desai competed as a wildcard in BB15 and got close to Umar Riaz. When Umar was evicted for assaulting Pratik Sehajpal during an assignment, the two were really bonding. Rashami cried because she couldn't deal with the unexpected eviction.
