My Workout RegimeEarlier I was not very strict about my workout but since January I have started working out six days a week with my personal trainer and it feels great! I am finally getting the body I have always wanted. I do circuit training, three to four times a week. On the remaining days I do cardio, either by using the cardio wave machine or by doing summit training.
Besides this, I try to add something different to my regime with either hot yoga or pilates or occasionally body pump.
My Diet:I haven't stopped eating anything but I just eat moderately. I usually eat every two hours so that I dont feel tired or weak. I start my day at 7:30 am with a bowl of oats without sugar and my indipensible cup of tea. Immediately after my workout I eat half a banana and a protein shake and I follow it up with four egg whites and a slice of brown bread. My next snack, usually a fruit is after two hours. For lunch, I have a bajra roti, a piece of chicken, salad and dal. My evening snack consists of a sandwich or a sugarless skimmed-milk milkshake or a rare cup of green tea. Dinner mostly comprises of steamed fish and a large bowl of salad. I am very happy with how my body is looking. My Happiness Quotient: I am a very positive person and I rarely find myself upset, more so now because I have been able to get a perfect body within six months of my daughter's birth. I am very satisfied with the way my life is going and occasionally when I feel low I munch on a small piece of dark chocolate to make me happy. My Idea of Relaxation: I usually make it a point to spend atleast half an hour a day to unwind. I believe that anything that is meaningful and important to you will relax you and for me spending time with my friends or husband is extremely relaxing. I am also a voracious reader and cant sleep without reading because its the ultimate stress buster for me. My husband and I also take frequent holidays to unwind especially to our house in Ramgarh which is in the Himalayas.- As told to Amishi Shah
