Farnaaz Shetty’s painting condemns rape

Some actors seek other creative outlets — apart from acting — to express their deepest emotions. One such actor is 'Farnaaz Shetty', currently seen as Gunjan in Yash Patnaik’s 'Ek Veer Ki Ardaas... Veera'. Farnaaz took three days to complete her latest painting, which condemns rape.

She says, “I used to draw and sketch a lot as a child, but I developed my painting skills only in the last three years.It helps me express my emotions and feelings on a canvas. An artist tends to be more emotional about things happening around his/her. And what's infesting the country is rape, it’s the worst form of crime. A woman has all the rights to live freely in the society like men. My latest painting is about giving strength to women and reminding dirty minds that they should fear God.”
The actress uses breaks between shots to pursue her passion. “I keep my painting kit handy at all times,” she says.
