Farman Haider on the intense track on Jagadhatri; says 'Viewers can expect twists which they won’t see coming'

Jagadhatri is keeping audiences hooked with its gripping mix of suspense, emotions, action, and family drama. Actor Farman Haider, who plays the pivotal role Shivaay in the show, opened up about the ongoing storyline and shared why this track has been one of the most exciting phases for him as an actor.

Talking about what he has enjoyed the most while shooting the current track, Farman said, “Honestly, what I’ve enjoyed the most is the emotional depth this track offers. It’s not just about drama or suspense — it’s about how every emotion connects with the audience. Shooting scenes where relationships are tested while a bigger mystery unfolds has been very fulfilling as an actor.”

The actor also revealed that while emotional scenes are important, action sequences excite him the most. “Action scenes are actually my favourite. There’s a different kind of adrenaline and energy while performing them. It really brings out the physicality and intensity of the character. At the same time, emotional scenes help me stay connected to the core of the story, so getting a mix of both has been the best part,” he shared.

Speaking about the emotionally intense situations his character is currently facing, Farman admitted that portraying such moments comes with its own challenges. “These moments require you to be very real and vulnerable. I had to deeply understand my character’s mindset to make the emotions feel authentic, and that process is always intense but rewarding,” he said.

The actor further teased viewers about the upcoming twists in the storyline. “Viewers can expect a lot of surprises — twists which they won’t see coming. The story is going to get more gripping with every episode, and the stakes are much higher now. There are moments that will shock the audience and keep them hooked throughout,” he added.

Farman also hinted at major shifts in the family dynamics ahead. “Trust will be tested, loyalties will shift, and hidden truths will come out. It’s going to create a ripple effect that will impact every character in a big way,” he shared.

One of the moments he is most excited for audiences to watch is a special performance inspired by legendary poet and filmmaker Gulzar. “It’s quite different from my usual intense and action-driven space. It has a poetic and subtle emotion to it, and I’m really looking forward to see how the audience connects with that side of the performance,” Farman concluded.
