was seen celebrating their success by cutting 3 beautiful chocolate cakes.
Faisal captioned the video as, "Celebrating 200 Episodes of Chandragupta Maurya! This show is special and I have to thank @sktorigins sir and @rahultewary sir. While the world had always seen me as a child, Chandragupta Maurya marked my debut as an adult into the world of acting! Playing the bold and courageous Chandragupta has been a treat and here's wishing the entire team at Swastik and Sony a huge congratulations for 200 episodes!"

A few weeks back there was news that Faisal's show will end on August 30, 2019. Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary confirms the news to BT and said, “I am happy with the way the show shaped up. It was meant to be a finite series and since inception, it was scheduled to wrap up by August. The writing is always different when it comes to a limited series. I feel that it gives more opportunity to perform better as the story moves at a faster pace. I didn’t want to extend it beyond what was originally planned.”
Faisal said, “The show is ending. It obviously feels bad, as you develop a bond with the team over a period of time. I would have liked it to run a little longer, but it’s a finite series and can’t be dragged on unnecessarily.”
The historical show is based on the life of Chandragupta Maurya, the first Mauryan Emperor who established the Maurya Dynasty. The show features, Faisal, Tarun Khanna,
Saurabh Raj Jain
, Vikas Verma, and Sneha Wagh in the lead roles. Chandragupta Maurya was premiered on November 14, 2018.
