Television show 'Chandragupta Maurya' has already won viewers' hearts with its action-packed drama, compelling characters and captivating storyline. The show has recently taken five-year leap, bringing in the grown up Chandragupta Maurya aka Faisal Khan. The stellar star cast have got a new addition with Aditi Sanwal who will be as Durdhara.
This is Aditi’s debut on the Indian Television screens as Durdhara, the Princess of Magadh paired with Faisal Khan and sister to his rival Dhananand aka Sourabh Raaj Jain.
The talented actor has done loads of commercials and short films with acclaimed Bollywood celebrities one of which being Kangana Ranaut.
Keeping the grandeur of the show intact, the Princess of Magadh was seen making her appearance on a horse in the episode. But, little that we know, that this was the first time Aditi was trying horse riding and that petrified her. The source close to the sets reveals that, “When she was informed by the team about her entry shot, she got scared. Aditi is afraid of horses and she couldn’t figure how was she going to do it with enormous heavy get up and jewellery.” While Aditi was trying to fight her fear, Faisal Khan came to her rescue and helped give the best shot with complete perfection. He also shared a few insights with her on horse riding that helps her not to be nervous.
On the context Aditi Sanval shares, “I was very nervous when I came to know about my first shot to be done with horse as I have never done horse riding before. It was very difficult for me as I already carry heavy costume and jewellery. My co-star Faisal Khan who plays Chandragupta Maurya, helped me lot during my shot. he gave me few guidelines and techniques to handle horse because he knows the antiques by now. Faisal not only guided me but also boosted my morale and with overall support of the entire crew I managed to give a great shot.”
