Exclusive - Yogesh Tripathi and Seerat Kapoor share their Holi Celebration Plans
Holi is the festival which bonds people together. It's the time when we forget the negativity and spread the joy all around. Following the trend TV artists plan their colourful celebration this year which includes Seerat Kapoor ( Savi, Gharwali Pedwali) and Yogesh Tripathi ( Daroga Happu Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan).
Seerat Kapoor aka Savi shares her playful childhood memories, "Being a Punjabi Holi is the festival which we celebrate with our hearts out. As kids I used to eagerly wait for the festival. My friends and I used to have these water balloon fights. After hours of fun we would all sit together and enjoy festive treats like Purab Poli's and Malpua. This year is going to be the same as the ongoing track is something very similar. There is a rivalry going on between Savi and Latika (Priyamvada Kant). I have planned to celebrate with my co- stars and if I get time I will host a cosy celebration with my friends with a small holi brunch with music, colours and foods. Happy Holi to all, keep spreading joy.”
Describing Holi as joyous madness wrapped in tradition and community bonding Yogesh Tripathi aka Happu Singh shared, "I have celebrated Holi with pure madness in the best way possible. I still remember as a kid me and my friends used to wake up early in the morning and visit house to house and apply colours on everyone whether they like it or not. There was music, dancing and never ending delicacies like Gujia, Kachori and namakpare. The best thing about the festival is that it unites people. Our whole colony used to come together and celebrate the festival. This year I am celebrating Holi with my co - actors and with my family at home. I am planning to decorate my house with colors so that my kids also enjoy the festival like the way I did in my childhood."
